Re: SdKfz 251 in Polish museums
Although this book came out some time before the WWP book, it has essentially been superceded by it. With this in mind, I think it still holds it's own considering it covers a different variant of the 251 from the WWP book and has a lot of unique features not covered in any other walkaround I've seen published or online.
Most notable of which is the the radio rack and the heater. Neither of which I've seen covered anywhere else, particularly the radio rack which is different from the usual tubular frame.
The only real negative of this book is the binding. A problem which seems to exist across Wydawnictwo's Militaria in Detail series. Pages tend to separate from the binding over time.
There's next to no text aside from small random descriptions attached to various photos. The book alternates between colour and black and white throughout, which is a bit odd but no real handicap.
It purports to cover 3 different surviving examples but I honestly can't see more than one.
It is certainly worth getting, but unless you're looking for something specific it contains and trying to limit expenditure, the WWP book would probably serve you better overall.
