Sd.Kfz.250 Militar's Kits series hors No. 1

This is a great book for the Sd.Kfz.250 and it's variants! It deals with both the model as well as the real vehicle. Plenty of text, how-to's and pictures. Text is in French, but an English translation is provided too!

For a modeller, I'm sure this would be a fairly helpful book, although solely from a reference perspective, it doesn't really stand up much against alternate books in the same price range.
Essentially it's a step by step for detailing existing kits of variants, with the odd photograph thrown in for reference. Certainly no treasure trove of period photos but it does provide numerous decent detail photos of Saumur's 250/9 A and an Ausf B from somewhere. Not worth it for these photos alone but a nice inclusion of a couple of vehicles that are essentially ignored in any other publication I've seen.
It is certainly unique in that it's a guide to various builds, but the lack of English is a fairly large setback for folk like me who can't read it.
Keeping in mind that this was obviously intended as a guide for modellers rather than as a reference on the vehicle, there's no doubt it fulfills it's intended purpose well.

I have this book myself and it is purely focussed on modellers and their wish to improve their 250's. It makes it possible to build the not so standard 250-versions.
They have included an English translation as a separate booklet, so the language shouldn't put you off.

The major set back now is that it is focussed on the old Tamiya-kits, so it is quite outdated..... unless you are quite fond of these old kits and their possibilities for lowbudget-improvement, like myself.
